Monochromatic filter for 5461 Å green

Use of glass cell filled with a solution of didymium, copper and potassium salts is proposed in this technical note

Summary

a simple method of making a large inexpensive monochromatic filter to isolate the 5461 Å mercury green line is given. The filter consists of a glass cell of suitable thickness filled with a solution of didymium, copper and potassium salts in proper proportions.
