Abstract

Strain gages of a nickel-molybdenum alloy and organoisilicon adhesives for prolonged measurements at high-temperature (500° C) and nuclear-radiation environments have been developed and their properties tested. The average apparent strin characteristics of the gages can be approximated with the help of a polynomial. The characteristics of each gage can be obtained by means of a linear transformation of this polynonmial
