Dynamic moiré methods for the bending of plates

In this paper, two approaches are proposed to extend Ligtenberg’s reflective moiré method to dynamic problems

Abstract

Two approaches are proposed to extend the Ligtenberg’s reflective moiré method to dynamic-bending problems of plates. Partial slope contours of two orthogonal directions can be obtained simultaneously with the proposed schemes. Vibrating modes of plates can also be obtained by the methods.
