Colin Greer, a graduate of London University, is completing his doctoral dissertation: an examination of the Negro and the public schools in New York City 1890–1960. Formerly a member of the Center for Urban Education staff, Mr. Greer is currently associate editor ofChange, a new journal of higher education.
