Summary

The Flory-Huggins interaction parameter, κ 1,2 , was determined for a number of fractions separated from vacuum distillation residues of natural oils. Examined fractions were used as liquid stationary phases in inverse gas chromatography. The chemical character of the fractions was discussed in terms of the interaction parameter.
