Summary

The comparison of marine optical measurements in the German Bight with a LANDSAT-scene at a very similar weather history during 4 days shows features of similarity in both pictures. In the area south-west of the island of Sylt, they can be explained by coastal upwelling.

Der Vergleich von meeresoptischen Messungen in der Deutschen Bucht mit einer LANDSAT-Szene bei einer sehr ähnlichen Wetter-Vorgeschichte zeigt Ähnlichkeiten zwischen beiden Bildern. Im Seegebiet südwestlich von Sylt können sie durch Auftrieb erklärt werden.

Résumé

La comparaison de mesures optiques du milieu marin effectuées à la mer dans la Baie Allemande avec une image LANDSAT prise dans des conditions atmosphériques très semblables durant quatre jours, révèle des éléments de similitude entre les deux images. Dans la zone au sud-ouest l'île de Sylt, on peut les expliquer par un upwelling côtier.
