Summary

Methadon is a synthetic morphin used as a substitution Therapy for heroin addicts. 21 patients were selected according the usual swiss indications and observed over 1 year. Treatment: daily methadon, weekly psychotherapy and unexpected urine controls. Problems: side effects, lack of medical care and control and the fact that it is a long term treatment for years, troublesome and often merely palliative.

Résumé

Méthadone est une morphine synthétique, qui sert comme substitut thérapeutique pour les héroinomanes. Suivant les indications habituelles en Suisse 21 patients on été choisis et observés pendant une année. Traitment: Distribution quotidienne de la méthadone, accompagnement psychothérapeutique et control d'urine a n'importe quel moment. Problèmes: Plusieurs effects secondaires, le manque d'un service médical et le fait qu'il s'agit d'un traitment durant plusieurs années souvent rien que palliatif.
