Thermochemical properties of solid solutions in the goethite — diaspore series

Abstract

Thermochemical constants for specimens of alumogoethite and alumohematite are determined. Limited miscibility of solid solutions and their thermodynamic stability are shown. Their possible effect on the properties of bauxite refractories is estimated.
