Hydrotechnical Construction Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

The use of a longitudinal dividing wall in the tunnel made it possible to dispense with construction of two independent tunnels for use in construction and operation and makes possible inspection and repair of equipment and construction of the conduit without interrupting its operation.

  2. 2.

Construction of the surface spillway sill in the cofferdam between the bank and intake tower greatly reduces the volume of work on excavating an additional pit and improves operation of the hydrodevelopment.
