Conclusions

  1. 1.

Expenditure on maintenance servicing and the number of personnel engaged in maintenance of the plant at hydropower stations can be, to a considerable degree, reduced by undertaking a series of organizational-engineering measures.

  2. 2.

These same measures enable the downtime of the power plant undergoing maintenance to be reduced to a considerable degree, thus raising its engineering utilization factor, and also effecting savings in fuel and capacity in the power system as a whole.
