Résumé

Il est possible de provoquer, dans des populations d'Aerobacter aerogenes, à l'aide de conditions spéciales de culture, ou par irradiation ultra-violette, la perte de leur capacité de proliférer dans des milieux contenant des substrats carbonés adaptatifs. Cette perte n'est pas héréditaire. L'analyse cinétique du phénomène suggère que l'induction de cette modification est due à une inactivation facilement réversible du noyau des cellules.
