Summary
A model of a frontal chromatographic process has been proposed for calculating the distribution of concentrations at column outlet. An equation giving the number of theoretical plates has been derived on the basic of a semicontinuous chromatographic column model. Results of the calculation when compared with experimental data show a good agreement.
