Summary
The slide culture method for the growth and microscopic examination of fungi was adopted for microscopic examination ofin vitro hair cultures. This technique allowed continuous microscopic examination of hairs during the experiment and revealed the earliest time of invasion, mode of invasion and dynamics of invasion of a diversified group of dermatophytes.
