7. Beitrag Die Wassertemperaturen und ihre Anomalien bei den japanischen und nordamerikanischen Wetterschiffen im Nordpazifischen Ozean

Zusammenfassung

Die statistische Auswertung der Wassertemperaturmessungen der japanischen und nordamerikanischen Wetterschiffe im Nordpazifischen Ozean ergibt — für wechselnd lange Zeiträume, die zwischen 1946 und 1955 liegen — im ganzen auch für den Nordpazifik das Dominieren einer positiven Anomalie der Wassertemperatur. Im Kollektiv der sechs verfügbaren Wetterschiffe beträgt sie +0,4 bis +0,5°, ist also fast so groß wie im Nordatlantik. In der regionalen und jahreszeitlichen Verteilung der Abweichungen zeigen sich mehr oder minder deutliche Anklänge an die Verhältnisse im Nordatlantischen Ozean.

Summary

From the statistical evaluation of the observations of water temperatures from Japanese and North American weather ships in the North Pacific Ocean it is to be seen that, on the whole, a positive anomaly of water temperatures — for periods varying in length between 1946 and 1955 — also prevails in the North Pacific. Taking the average of the six available weather ships, the anomaly is found to vary from +0,4 to +0,5°; it is, hence, almost as high as that obtained for the North Atlantic. The regional and seasonal distributions of the departures from the normal show a more or less pronounced similarity with the conditions in the North Atlantic Ocean.

L'élaboration statistique des températures de la mer mesurées à bord de frégates météorologiques japonaises et de l'Amérique du Nord stationnées en Océan Pacifique du Nord montre que pour des périodes de longueurs différentes entre 1946 et 1955 l'anomalie positive de la température de la mer se présente également en Océan Pacifique du Nord. L'anomalie calculée d'après l'ensemble des six frégates météorologiques varie entre +0°,4 et +0°,5; elle est, donc, prèsqu'égale à celle de l'Océan Atlantique du Nord. La distribution régionale et saisonnière des écarts à la normale montre une ressemblance plus ou moins prononcée aux conditions dominant dans la partie nord de l'Océan Atlantique.
