Summary
Two stochastic models have been fitted to daily rainfall data for an interior station of Brazil. Of these two models, the results show a better fit to describe the data, by truncated negative probability model in comparison with Markov chain probability model. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is applied for significance for these models.
Zusammenfassung
Zwei stochastische Modelle sind den täglichen Regendaten einer Station im Inneren von Brasilien angepaßt worden. Von diesen zwei Modellen zeigt im Vergleich mit dem Markow-Ketten-Wahrscheinlichkeitsmodell das abgeschnittene negative Wahrscheinlichkeitsmodell eine bessere Anpassung zur Darstellung der Daten. Der Kolmogorow-Smirnow-Test wird zur Signifikanz dieser Modelle angewendet.
