Retention on Diol column—A case study

Summary

The effect of simultaneous variation of buffer pH, molarity and organic modifier concentration when Diol stationary phase is used was experimentally studied. An equation has been derived for the retention time in the interpolation region of ephedrine and synopen—principal active components in an antihistamine formulation.
