Documentation and interpretation of spectroscopic data

Summary

Large collections of spectral and structural data in computer-readable form are an important prerequisite for the automatic interpretation of spectroscopic data. Some basic problems connected with the generation, use, and maintainance of computerized spectroscopic data banks are discussed, and approaches to their solution are given.
