Plasma amino acids in a patient with Wilson's disease presenting with an acute haemolytic anaemia

Abstract

A 10-year-old girl with Wilson's disease presented with an acute haemolytic anaemia. Plasma amino acids, studied during two haemolytic episodes, were abnormal, especially cystine, which was increased approximately tenfold.
