Relationship between molecular connectivity indices of barbiturates and chromatographic parameters

Summary

166 data sets of different chromatographic parameters for barbiturates taken from the literature were correlated with the first order valence connectivity indices. The most significant correlations were found for HPLC. The correlations depend on the structure of the substituents and the substitution mode of the barbituric acid ring.
