Summary
A new method was developed for the determination of fluoride in fluorinated milk on the basis of headspace gas chromatography utilizing, the reaction between trimethylchlorosilane and ion-bound fluorine in highly acidic media. The obtained trifluorosilane has a high volatility and can be easily determined by headspace gas chromatography.
