Summary

The purity of radiochlorophyllsa andb when separated by HPLC is 99.5% at a 95% confidence counting level. The minor degradation compounds of chlorophylla which follow chlorophyllb do not overlap with it and interfere with the specific activity of the latter as they do in TLC or paper chromatography
