Summary

An automatic device combining high-performance liquid chromatography and continuous flow analysis (HPLC/CFA) has been developed for the individual analysis of pharmaceutical tablets. With this fully automated system up to 60 tablets can be analysed in sequence. Between each sequence of tablets up to 3 reference solutions can also be automatically analysed. The reproducibility is better than 2% for all compounds, by repetitive injections of a mixture of drugs.
