Summary

Laboratory Data Systems are becoming more and more popular and it should be tried to connect as many analytical instruments as possible on-line. The dilemma, with which the user is very often faced today, is the compatibility between system and instrument. This paper describes the possibility what a liquid chromatograph can offer if connected to a widely-used Laboratory Automation System.
