Summary

Calicophoron calicophorum was recorded in domestic cattle from the East Kimberley district of Western Australia. No other species of paramphistomes were found. The significance ofC. calicophorum as a probable cause of poor productivity in beef cattle in tropical Northern Australia is discussed.

Calicophoron calicophorum a été décrit chez des bovins domestiques du district East Kimberley dans l'ouest de l'Australie. Aucune autre espéce de paramphistome n'a été trouvée. L'importance deC. calicophorum comme cause probable de la faible productivité des bovins dans le nord de l'Australie tropicale est discutée.
