Zusammenfassung
An Hand von Radarbeobachtungen wird gezeigt, daß die Dauer von konvektiven Starkregenfällen nur im ortsfesten Koordinatensystem häufig als gering erscheint; in einem mit der Niederschlagszelle mitbewegten Koordinatensystem kann sie nach den Wetterradarbeobachtungen viele Stunden betragen.
Summary
By means of weather radar observations it is shown that the duration of heavy convective rainfall appears to be short only in a locally fixed coordinate system. If the coordinate system is moved along with the convective cell the duration of rainfall may reach several hours.
Résumé
Les observations par radar montrent que la durée des fortes averses de nature convective, si elle semble souvent courte en un point fixe, peut par contre s'étendre sur maintes heures lorsqu'on la repère dans un système de référence entrîné avec la cellule nuageuse productrice.
