Summary

Using a mobile station, the vertical distribution of Tn is measured in the atmosphere close to the ground. From the results, the turbulent mass transport in this region is calculated. For the first time, this method has been applied in a forest. An essential requirement is the extensive measurement of exhalation of both Rn and Tn. First results towards a determination of mass exchange and of its dependence on certain meteorological parameters are presented.
