Photoelektrische Helligkeitsasymmetrie während einer Mondfinsternis

Summary

The changes of lunar brightness during the eclipse of the moon on 13 April 1968 were measured photoelectrically in the visible part of the spectrum. Superposition of the data functions on a common chart revealed a distinct brightness asymmetry. Its probable cause could be a non-uniform diurnal distribution of atmospheric scatterers in the two half-zones of the terrestrial terminator.

Zusammenfassung

Die Veränderungsfunktion der Mondhelligkeit im Sichtbaren wurde während der Mondfinsternis vom 13. April 1968 photoelektrisch gemessen. Beim Auftragen der Meßwerte auf ein gemeinsames Datenblatt läßt sich eine deutliche Helligkeitsasymmetrie erkennen. Ihre wahrscheinliche Ursache dürfte in der tageszeitbedingten ungleichmäßigen Verteilung von atmosphärischen Streuzentren in den beiden Halbzonen des Erdterminators liegen.
