Ein Beispiel für einen möglichen Stadteinfluß auf die Schauerbildung

Zusammenfassung

Gelegentlich kann man mit dem Wetterradargerät Schauerzellen beobachten, die sich genau über dem Stadtgebiet von Groß-Berlin bilden, während es in der weiteren Umgebung der Stadt nicht zur Bildung von Niederschlagszellen kommt. Ein ähnlicher Fall trat am 16. Juli 1961 auf, wobei jedoch die Schauerzellen im Lee des Stadtgebietes entstanden.

Summary

Sometimes one can observe shower-cells by means of the weather-radar which are arising precisely above the city-area of Great-Berlin, while over the farther surroundings of the town there is no formation of precipitation cells. A similar case could be observed on 16 July 1961, but at this date the shower-cells formed in the lee of the city-area.

Il est parfois possible d'observer au radar météorologique des averses qui se forment exactement sur l'espace couvert par le “Grand Berlin” alors que tout autour de la ville on ne constate, dans un très grand rayon, aucune précipitation. Un fait semblable s'est par exemple produit le 16 juillet 1961. Dans ce cas particulier, l'averse s'est pourtant formée sous le vent de la ville.
