James Lewis is a Visiting Fellow in Development Studies at the University of Bath. He is an architect and operates from Datum International in Wiltshire, UK. He participated in the Small States Conference on Sea Level Rise, which was held in Malé, Republic of the Maldives, in November 1989, as a Resource Person. He was a Consultant to the Commonwealth Expert Group on Climate Change and Sea Level Rise, undertaking field missions to examine the implications of sea level rise in Tonga and Tuvalu.
