Summary
Megabulbus of the duodenum may be a part of generalized megaduodenum or may be a localized condition. The latter, as presented in the case herein described, is the rarer type and is usually a result of stenosing postbulbar duodenal ulcer, obstructing band, or annular pancreas. Duodenal ulceration is a common complication. The likelihood of identifying the triad of megabulbus, annular pancreas, and duodenal ulcer is stressed.
