Zur Darstellung von Bestandsstrukturen beim Schalenwild

Zusammenfassung

Die bereits 1928 vonHoffmann eingeführte Methode der Bestandspyramiden hat sich seither für bestandsbiologische Überlegungen sowie insbesondere für die Abschußplanung beim Schalenwild vielfältig bewährt. Auf dieser Methode sowie auf zwischenzeitlichen Weiterentwicklungen durchHoffmeister und den Verfasser aufbauend, wurde jetzt eine Metalltafel konstruiert, auf der mit Hilfe von Magnetsteinen Schalenwildbestände einschließlich ihres jährlichen Zuwachses dargestellt werden können. Durch einfaches Verschieben der Magnetsteine innerhalb des vorgezeichneten Grundmusters können Veränderungen der Bestandsstruktur, insbesondere auch die Auswirkung jagdlicher Eingriffe, leicht und schnell simuliert werden. Dieses Gerät ist deshalb für Überlegungen zur Bestands- und Abschußplanung sehr geeignet. Sowohl derartige Metalltafeln und Magnetsteine, als auch alles sonstige Zubehör können im einschlägigen Fachhandel bezogen werden.

Summary

The method of population pyramids introduced in 1928 byHoffmann has proved itself repeatedly in population dynamics and, in particular, for the planning of management culling in ungulates. Building in this method as well as on further developments made in the interim byHoffmeister and the present author, a metal table has now been constructed on which, with the aid of magnets, ungulate populations and their annual growth, can be represented. By a simple pushing of the magnets within the prescribed basic pattern, changes in the population structure, and in particular the effect of hunting, can be simulated easily and quickly. This equipment is, therefore, well suited to considerations of population and the planning of cull management. The metal tables, magnets and other materials are easily purchased in specialist shops.

Résumé

Le modèle pyramidal de la structure de population introduit parHoffmann dès 1928 s'est avéré fort utile tant pour des spéculations de dynamique de population qu'au niveau, plus particulier, de la planification du tir des Ongulés-gibier. Au départ de cette méthode et de ses développements ultérieurs parHoffmeister et par l'Auteur, un support métallique a été construit permettant la représentation d'effectifs de populations d'espècesgibier et de leurs croîts annuels au moyen d'aimants. Le simple déplacement de ceux-ci à l'intérieur du cadre prévu permet la simulation aisée et rapide de modifications de la structure de la population ou des prélèvements cynégétiques. On peut se procurer ces plaques métalliques, les aimants ainsi que d'autres accessoires utiles dans le commerce spécialisé.
