Structure of mucroflavone B

  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

Abstract

A new flavonoid, mucroflavone B, is isolated from the terrestrial part ofTanacetopsis mucronata (Regel. et Schmalh.) S. Kovalevsk. IR, mass, UV, and PMR spectra and a comparison with those of similar compounds provide a basis for proposing the structure 5,6,4′-trihydroxy-7,8,3′-trimethoxyflavone for mucroflavone B.
