Summary
A case of acute fatty liver of pregnancy with unusual complications is presented. These include upper gastrointestinal bleeding due to a Mallory-Weiss lesion, coagulation disturbances, and hepatic encephalopathy with hyperammonemia. The patient survived after massive corticosteroid therapy.
