Nach Ausschaltung der Augen vermag der SkorpionUrodacus zwei Formen lichtabhängigen Verhaltens aufrechtzuerhalten (negative Phototaxis und Aktivitätsrhythmus). Dies geschieht mit Hilfe des bereits beschriebenen extraokulären Lichtsinnes.
