Summary
Complications of liver biopsy are difficult to demonstrate by any means short of abdominal exploration. The present case illustrates the use of Thorotrast in visualizing an intrahepatic hematoma, and the use of such a procedure in similar cases and in anticoagulant induced hematoma is discussed.
