Summary
The M2-tide of the Bering Sea is calculated by means of a hydrodynamicalnumerical model. As results the regional distributions of amplitudes, phases, tidal ellipses and residual currents are obtained. Furthermore the energy dissipation by bottom friction and the torque acting on the solid Earth are determined.
