Zusammenfassung

Die Rehabilitation der Patienten mit Lippen-Kiefer-Gaumenspalten ist eine multidisziplinäre Aufgabe und nur in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Chirurgen erfolgversprechend zu lösen. Eine besondere Bedeutung kommt dem frühen Beginn der kieferorthopädischen Behandlung zu.

Summary

The rehabilitation of patients with cleft lips and palates involves close teamwork with the surgeon. It seems that the timing of the orthodontic therapy is very important in achieving a good final result.

Résumé

La rehabilitation des patients présentant une division labio-palatine exige une coopération parfaite avec le chirurgien maxillo-facial. Le résultat esthétique dépend en partie du début de soin orthodontique.
