-
1o
l'odeur de la reine considérée isolément n'inhibe pas la ponte des ouvrières;
-
2o
les extraits royaux pratiqués avec différents solvants et combinés avec l'odeur royale réalisent une inhibition d'importance variable, qui n'est jamais totale cependant;
-
3o
Summary
In this work we study the nature of the mechanism (sensory stimulus, phérormones, which cause inhibition in the workers laying, living with their queen. We have demonstrated that:
-
1o
The smell of the queen, cannot inhibit the egg laying of workers.
-
2o
The royal extracts (obtained with several solvents, and combined with the royal smell), may assure a relative inhibition. But this inhibition is never absolute.
-
3o
The 9-exodec-trans-2-enoic acid (first pherormone of the bee queen), distributed at various concentrations induces very little inhibition.
But whatever the means used, the inhibition is always relative. So we think that the absolute inhibition (like the inhibition of the workers which are living with a queen in good health), is produced by one or several additionnal factors (sensory stimulus).
Finally, we think that the absolute inhibition of the laying egg workers, is the sum of these differents factors, acting in «Synergy».
