Epidemiologische Untersuchungen über Adeno-Infektionen

Zusammenfassung

1471 Blut- und 100 Stuhlproben von 521 Rekruten wurden serologisch auf Adeno-Virus-Antikörper und in Isolierungsversuchen auf ausgeschiedenes Adeno-Virus untersucht. Das Untersuchungsmaterial war den Rekruten während eines Jahres in Vierteljahresabständen entnommen worden, wobei die erste Entnahme unmittelbar nach der Einberufung erfolgte.

Der Verlauf der Antikörpertiter während der Untersuchungszeit wurde mit Hilfe der Komplementbindungsreaktion verfolgt. Die Untersuchungen über die Adeno-Virus-Typenspezifität erfolgten im Neutralisationstest.

Die in HeLa-Zellkulturen durchgeführten Isolierungsversuche verliefen negativ.

Die serologisch erhaltenen Ergebnisse sprechen für eine schwache Adeno-Durchseuchung der untersuchten Truppeneinheiten, ohne daß dabei ein epidemieartiges Auftreten von Adeno-Virus-Infektionen zu beobachten war.
