Si presentano formule asintotiche di prima approssimazione per il calcolo degli sforzi in serbatoi non assialsimmetrici, formati da due gusci cilindrici circolari collegati da un tronco conico obliquo. L'indagine si estende alle concentrazioni di sforzi presso linee di discontinuità della superficie media, con brusca ma moderata deviazione della normale.

Summary

First approximation asymptotic expressions are presented and applied to the stress analysis of asymmetric vessels formed by two circular cylindrical shells joined by an oblique conical frustum. The effects of the outward and inward ridges at the junction sections are investigated in general.
