L'equazione generale delle onde per flusso bidimensionale a regime in liquidi stratificati è stata riscritta in forma integrale. (Questo è stato suggerito da R. R. Long, e poi sfruttato da C. S. Yih). In quest a memoria si presenta una soluzione del tipo integrale di Airy e si esamina la possibilità di ottenere il campo più ampio di soluzioni esatte.

Summary

The general wave equation for steady-state two-dimensional flow in stratified fluids bas been re-written in an integral form. (This was first suggested by R. R. Long, and later exploited by C. S. Yih) An Airy integral solution is presented in this paper, and the possibility of obtaining the widest range of exact solutions examined.
