Atomic and molecular spectroscopy in the evanescent electromagnetic field of dielectric resonators

Abstract

Experiments of microwave spectroscopy with cavity spectrometers utilizing the evanescent field extending outside dielectric resonatos. are described. Results are reported, indicating the advantages ad the possible applications of the new technique.
