In conclusion
the concept of rheumatoid nodulosis illustrates the multiplicity of the nosological pictures wich could be realized in rheumatoid arthritis by various combinations of constitutive clinical, biological and morphological features. The pathogenesis of this special variant provides a useful field of investigation, together with a long term follow-up of the articular as well as of the visceral evolution.
