Septic streptococcus milleri prepatellar bursitis

Summary

The osteoarticular affinity of Streptococcus milleri has only recently been recognized. We report a case of septic prepatellar bursitis caused by this pathogen. The recent literature concerning osteoarticular involvement by S. mileri is reviewed.
