Jean Piaget(born in Switzerland, 1896). Director of the Centre of Genetic Epistemology in Geneva. Directr of the International Bureau of Education from 1929 to 1967. Co-director of the Institut de Sciences de l'Éducation since 1933. Author of a great many publications in the field of psychology, infant psychology, epistemology, etc., including Le Langage et la Pensée chez l'Enfant, Le Jugement et la Raisonnement chez l'Enfant, La Représentation du Monde chez l'Enfant.
