His specialities are observation, analysis and evaluation. He was a lecturer and researcher at the Institut National de Recherche Scientifique at the University of Quebec from 1974 to 1986. He is currently a full professor at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières. He is the co-author ofL'Analyse de l'enseignement (1987) and the author of several articles on the teaching of mathematics in secondary schools.

Author of several articles on microprocessing and educational software.

He is a specialist in individualized instruction and the educational applications of the computer. He was a lecturer and researcher at the Institut National des Recherches Scientifiques of the University of Quebec from 1973 to 1986. He is currently a full professor at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières. Co-author with Gilles Dussult ofL'Individualisation de l'enseignement: pourquoi? (1978) and author ofSAGE: un pas vers l'école de demain (1982).
