Summary

In the introduction are described the various agriculture crops, the areas under cultivation by hectar respectively planted by number of trees and the climate conditions prevailing in the areas under cultivation in Jordan, West- and East-Jordan.

In the mean chapter, with three pictures, are described the most important pests, listed below, of the mean crops, their biology, generations and damage caused by them:

1. Wheatleaveminer (Syringopais temperatella Zd.), 2. Cutworm (Prodenia litura F.), 3. Olivefly (Dacus oleae Gmelin), 4. Olivemoth (Prays oleellus F.), 5. Almondseedwasp (Eurytoma amygdali End.), 6. Flatheaded Borer (Capnodis carbonaria Klug), 7. Red Scale (Aonidiella aurantii Mask.), 8. Black Scale (Chrysomphalus ficus Ashm.), 9. Fig Scale (Ceroplastes rusci L.).
