Summary
Tubercle bacilli of the human type were injected intrahepatically into white rats, after these animals had been treated previously with killed bacilli of the same strain. Suspensions of the infected livers later proved to be equally pathogenic for guinea-pigs whether they were taken from specifically pre-treated or from untreated rats.
