Zusammenfassung
Polyvinylalkoholschwämme, in Tiergewebe eingepflanzt, sind weniger inaktiv als allgemein angenommen wird. Fibrosarkome entstanden in 75% der Ratten, welche die subkutane Schwammeinpflanzung mindestens 18 Monate überlebten.
