Abrasion measurements by radiotracers. Application to the spatial distribution of trace elements in flameless AAS

Abstract

A simple abrasion procedure for the determination of the distribution of a radiotracer as a function of depth in solid flat aliquots is presented. Application to the concentration distribution in graphite furnaces for flameless AAS is possible down to ∼0.1 μm.
